its that time of the night again

what is it about me and other people that cause us to be more thoughtful at night? why do i do my most tihnking and advanced thinking in bed? i feel like my best ideas and originality comes while im in bed. but then sometimes when i wake up the next morning, i feel that my ideas from the night before were stupid and embaressing. prime explame was my email to mei. i sent it out at like 2 in the morning. the next morning i thought my arbitrary question was so stupid and i was embaressed by it. i think it really only hurt my chances there. (btw tmw i NEED to do work. scheduling and coverletters)
also im more likely to indulge in deeper and more emotional conversations at night. during the day, emotions just feel uncomfortable and awkward, but at night its welcome. its odd. i dont get it. i would think my tired body would be less likely to engage in deep thoughts at night, but alas it doesnt.
i kinda feeel stupid right now because i feel like this was scientifically explained to me at some point, but i just cant remember it right now. maybe ill google it later. ill get bac to you. my thoughtful night led to the creation of this blog. i believe i made it around midnight one night in cuse. to record my random night thoughts. idk y, b ut i just feel better having them in a online blog. not writing them on paper or just in a random word document on my computer.  maybe its because i secretly want people to read and think about my thoughts? im obviously not hiding them by putting this on my blog, but im also not advertising it cuz its embaressing at the same time. some people might think im stupid and laugh at what i say here....not nice :( but im self-conscious like the rest of the world while also secretly seeking out attention. id say this blog fits nicely into general sociological theories pretty well. good for me?

brian is quite the liberal conspiricy man, but hes not over the top yet. i enjoy his fresh outlook sometimes because he is fairly versed and doesnt make blind generalizations with no backup about everytihng the government does. his thoughts on bin laden were farfetched to me at first, but did have some common sense to them. i think we will ever know the true story of bin ladens killing. how long it took to find him, ppl killed, tatics used, etc. idk, but its a nice thought experiment. i always give our government the benefit of the doubt though because they have a generally good track record in war, though modern warfare has been diffcult for us since the 60s, but its been like that with everyone. guerilla tatics, terrorism, longrange missiles, nukes; they all changed the game and we are all nervous about them.  at the same time, i think we do have intelligent people working in the government that try their best to make the correct call, though it isnt always perfect. its jsut nonsense to think that EVERYONE in the federal government is a bunch of idiots. so many people think they are all retarded and have no idea what is going on in the world. that simply is not true; it is extremely difficult to be in politics and policy making, there are so many scernios to every situation that it is impossible to ever make the perfect call. theres always consequences. i give them credit despite all of the criticism from the average joes that are way too under educated on the issues they complain about. i will forever think back to government my senior year of high school. all of the general and just shockingly stupid and blind and uneducated allegations ppl would yell out(yea im talking to you tanya, you are a dumb fuck, im just gonna come out and say it). i am always willing to rant about ppls stupidity on topical issues. maybe im being arrogant, but i sometimes look stupid when i talk to grad students, so i have been humbled a bit. but i just cannot stand ppl who think they are leading the charge to change, and are reallly just under educated and blind to the real facts and things that happen in big governemnt. its so much bigger and more complex than some can ever imagine.
