flyer shakedown!!

i just had to make a post about this the instant that i saw it! the flyers traded jeff carter to the blue jackets, mike richards to the kings and signed ilya bryz to a multi year deal.  holy shit! this has to be one of the biggest single day shake ups i have ever seen! carter was their top scorer when they went to the cup against the hawks; ricchards was their captain; and apparently they werent confident in their goalie situation. signing iyla is no surprise and i think we saw this coming once we saw that he was going to be a free agent.  they sent carter for a top10 draft pick, a later rounder and voracek. voracek is barely a 50 pointer while carter was around 70. i guesss the flyers wanted to go young. like very young. the bluejackets have to be happy. they got another top3 forward that they were dying for to go with nash.(nash could be one of the greatest if he had bettter teammates).

i love the kings, and i am quite happy to see them get richards. hes a REAL top6 forward that they always needed to give them more scoring punch. they lost schenn and simmonds, which i wont loose any sleep about.

bryzgalov is great for the flyers. they needed the goalie, bad. no really cons hear i think, unless they way over pay for an aging goalie cuz idk the money right now. 

for the bluejackets: this is an A grade trade.
kings: A- just cuz schenn is so prized.
flyers:....C+ cuz i dont think loosing to top scorers is what they needed. its not like carter or richards are that old either. bryz was a free agent so im not factoring it into the grade much
